Stress Management

What Is Stress?

Stress occurs when the body feels threatened or pressured. A 2022 study found that 85% of UK adults experience regular stress, with over a third related to work.

How Does Stress Affect Your Organisation?

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reported in 2023 that 1.8 million workers suffer from work-related ill health, with about half due to stress, depression or anxiety. Work-related stress levels are higher than pre-pandemic, resulting in an estimated 35.2 million lost working days in 2022/23 alone.

How Can You Help Your Organisation

Preventing or addressing work-related stress can significantly benefit employees and employers alike. Improved employee well-being leads to increased productivity, reduced absenteeism, and lower staff turnover.

How We Can Help

Prolonged desk work and computer use can cause postural and musculoskeletal issues, contributing to work-related stress. Providing stress management techniques can enhance employee health, reduce absenteeism, and boost productivity.

Why Choose Holistic Haven?

Investing in massage therapy can yield significant benefits. Studies show that just 20 minutes of massage per week can improve employees’ speed, alertness and accuracy while reducing stress levels
